Lynstel Laundry is a company that provides laundry and dry-cleaning services on demand in Nigeria. The company needed branding to differentiate itself from its competitors and appeal to customers.
We started the project by doing a SWOT analysis to assess Lynstel Laundry’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. We also did a competitor analysis to understand what is most prevalent in their industry and then a customer analysis of potential customers to find out their needs, wants, and challenges regarding laundry services. Based on the research results, We came up with a brand strategy that emphasized Lynstel Laundry’s convenience, quality, and reliability as its core values.
We designed a logo that symbolizes Lynstel laundry’s quick and easy service with a cloth hanger shape that looks like a smile to indicate customer satisfaction as a priority. I picked deep colours to contrast the usual but still communicate freshness and cleanliness, and a simple handwritten font to communicate simplicity. We applied the visual identity to various touchpoints such as social media posts, flyers, business cards, etc.
